About the book
Equal Parts Light and Dark is a conceptual poetry book filled with metaphors, quantum observations, double meanings, cynicism, wit, hypocrisy and honesty.
It is “a breath of fresh air” if you will it. The self taught writers authenticity and vulnerability is electric in a TV static world. Within this treasure we see a poet discover her voice in 2024 never having written before, tortured by her beautiful brain and on a star aligned path to change her life whilst keeping her magic spark of perception.
Through the works you can feel the artists mind tangents like a pulse on the collective consciousness, like thoughts you had not quite put together the meaning of yet.
You won’t be able to get out of the sticky retroflex of these poems, reading and listening to them upon different happenstances in your life they will all have different and prophetic meanings.
So pick up this little pink book “A book that is a shade of pink so soft it calms you but don’t stare too long it’ll drive you crazy” and give it a read, invest in an artist that you’ve never seen. A new face to bring to light, in this world so captivated by fear and fright…
